How many times you say "YES " when you mean "NO":

Many of us in different situations we are uttering a "yes" when actually wanted to have said "no".  We accept almost without thought and mechanically meet orders from other to the detriment of our needs. Generally, when the gaze is on the other, not respecting my spaces and views generate anger, fatigue and exhaustion. We often repeat phrases such as "always the same stupid “, "everybody take advantage of me".  Even sometimes we fall into the belief that " we do not learn from our experiences"

The interesting thing about designing who we want to be everyday   is that many things can change. This is not magic and it takes work.  To leave the comfort zone where always occur these responses is not easy task but is possible.
There are two tips, as I like to say, to work: the interior or emotional one and the practical.
In regard to the first is useful to answer the following questions:
·      How much I depend on the approval of others to feel good with myself?
·      When I prioritized feel guilt? And if the answer is yes, for what reasons I do?
·      When I say yes when I mean not what I am missing or which things I am avoiding?
·      Is there any reference in my family history that makes me act in this way? What they taught me?
As a plan of action you can consider small targets to modify this behavior. In the first place, begin to have record of when and how this situation occurs for acceptance against your inner desire. Identify your emotions associated with this situation may help you to understand the need and the importance of generating the change. In a second stage, when satisfied to introduce a change in this behavior, the practice of assertiveness, defending your rights without being aggressive or submissive, is an excellent resource. To the extent that you respect yourself, you will gain healthier relationships with others but especially with you.
